Study group from Nordic Studies, Tokai University, visited TUEC

On a sunny, clear September day, a group of students from the department of Nordic Studies, Tokai University, dropped by for a short visit at TUEC. The group, consisting of 15 students and lead by Prof. Yoshikazu Saho, were on a study trip to Norway and Denmark. After a short introduction to TUEC, the professor and the students were shown around TUEC’s premises. The students were particularly struck by the geographical closeness of Denmark and Sweden across Oresund, leading them to reflect on the historical relationship between the two countries. The visit also inspired conversations between students and TUEC staff on possible career opportunities for students with an academic degree in Nordic Studies.
