Mr. Bertel Haarder mentions Tokai in "The Global"
Mr. Bertel Haarder, former Minister of Education, recently Minister of Culture and Ecclesiastical Affairs and Honorary Doctor of Tokai University, mentions Tokai and Dr. Matsumae in his article about Folk High Schools in last year’s December Issue of the News Magazine "The Global". The article explains how Folk High Schools have been an important inspiration to other countries for their role in nation building and mentions Tokai University as an example of how this influence has been realized.

We're thrilled that so many of you joined our Japan Culture Day last year, and we're really looking forward to hosting it again now in 2025!
The specific date has yet be announced, but it usually falls on a Sunday in the latter half of June.
