Pop Culture Day - Saturday, September 27th 2025, 12:00 - 18:00

This year on Saturday September 27th, we will host a Pop Culture Event here at our facilities in Vedbæk, arranged in collaboration with Tokai's Alumni Association. Entry is free of charge. Read all about the Program and the Areas below!

Program

All areas will be open and running from 12 - 18 o'clock except for the activities in the conference room, as those follow a time table. Read about the Conference Room Program below, and about all the other areas further below!

Areas

All of the areas below will be open and running from 12 - 18 o'clock, so you can visit these anytime during the event.

All the photoshoot sessions have now been fully booked!

Rules:

Please show up fully prepared for the photoshoot at least 5 min. early at the allocated meeting spot. We will inform you about the meeting spot as well as what time slot you have been assigned a few days before the event by sending you an e-mail.
Please respect the photoshoot areas and facilities. The Tokai University European Center is a workplace owned by the Japanese University Tokai, so please treat the areas with care, and leave them in the same manner as when you arrived.
If you wish to take photos INSIDE of the Japanese Tea House, please don’t enter with any shoes on! This is prohibited, as this is an authentic Japanese Tea House, and this is not allowed.
We are allocating specific areas to photoshoot-sessions, however, if any other guests at our event are hanging out in these areas remember to ask them if they’re ok with being in the background of the photoshoots. Otherwise kindly ask if they can move outside of the frame - they’ll surely understand!
Only those who have recieved a confirmation by e-mail can attend the sessions. Please save this e-mail as proof of your registration.

Photoshoot Areas:

The following areas are allocated for photoshoots (please check out the pictures to the right as well):

A. The Japanese Tea House and its surrounding Japanese Garden

B. The coast and the ocean view (public area behind the Center)

C. The front garden and the back garden

D. Student bedrooms

E. Summer Villa Suite

F. Old School Office Space

G. Library and Copy Room (in the cellar)
