Soccer researcher from Tokai University on field research in Denmark

Mr. Kenichiro Nakanishi, former soccer player and professional coach, and currently associate professor at the Department of Community Development, School of International Cultural Relations at Tokai University, will visit Denmark from 20th to 30th October in order to conduct field research. This is the fourth time prof. Nakanishi visits Denmark, and with TUEC as his base, he plans to visit several soccer clubs and elementary schools both in Zealand and Funen. The research themes in focus this time around include activities professional soccer clubs offer instructors and players in the local community; how the data acquired through GPS measurement is used for improving physical training; and how physical education programs in elementary schools are organized. TUEC is cooperating with prof. Nakanishi to arrange visiting programs.
